In this paper I wish to do two things: Firstly to think about the concept of preaching and secondly to think about the practice of preaching. Our thinking is to be governed by Paul’s words in his first letter to the church at Corinth Chapter 1v17-25. I want to make a distinction between the act of preaching and the sermon that is preached.
